So....

...haven't had the jerseys for long now but apparently they're good luck, in an evil kind of way. Sunday was a pretty brutal cross ride lead by Greg from Spin Bike Shop. That dude is not the least bit forgiving. We did about 50-60 miles, and probably around 30 or so were off road on some maybe not so legal trails. For it being a first cross ride ever for a few of us (with the exception of the 1 race i did last year on a low end tiny Trek mountain bike) i'd say we did pretty well.

In other news...

A few of the guys have been doing the Westlake practice crit series and trying to get George a win. Well, it finally happened. I did not witness the race, but as usual he was lead by a train of the rest of Scum City for the final sprint. To say the very least, George is a fucking monster. Even after crashing on the first or second lap, he managed to catch back up to the peloton from having such a massive lead to begin with. Congrats George!

also a few pictures from the crit and rides...

...Bottoms up or the rest in yer hair...

I been had alleycats...

Ok, so we here in the land of cleves had an alleycat. Poorly attended, but that's hardly the point. It was named in honor of one of the greatest tech screwups of all time. The Sexual Sounds on Carnegie Race.

Results, as if anyone didn't see this coming.

1.Jay Karp
2. Guy Singer
3. Jon Zagorski

Ladies, since we only had two, I'd love to thank Brynn and Suzie for coming out and kicking ass. Lots of ass.

We here at scum city are in the works on another one. Hoping maybe to dust off the wheels myself this year.
